AluaSun Lago Rojo’s dog policy allows dogs weighing less than 10 kg for a supplement of €15 per night, exclusively in Junior Suite rooms.
At check-in, guests must:

Sign the hotel’s dog accommodation policy and the corresponding liability waiver.

Provide the dog’s name, weight, age, colour and breed.

Present a copy of the veterinary certificate confirming rabies vaccination within the last 12 months.

Provide evidence of current flea and tick treatment.

Hold third-party liability insurance.

Where applicable, provide proof of completion of the required dog ownership training course.
Only dogs weighing less than 10 kg are accepted, with a maximum of one dog per room.
Dogs may only circulate in designated areas of the hotel. They are not permitted in restaurants, the swimming pool, gym, spa, golf facilities or on the beach. Restricted areas will be clearly signposted.
Outside the room, dogs must remain on a lead or inside a pet carrier at all times.
Guests are responsible for collecting and disposing of their dog’s waste correctly, as well as for the animal’s food, care and maintenance. Hotel tableware may not be used to feed or provide water to the dog, except for items specifically provided for this purpose.
Guests must inform Reception and place the “Dog Friendly Room” sign on the door. Room cleaning must be arranged in advance with Reception. Hotel staff will not enter the room if the dog is left alone. If the dog is present during cleaning, its owner must also remain in the room.
Guide dogs may access the hotel’s common areas when accompanied by their owners, in accordance with current regulations, and must display the relevant identification. No accommodation supplement will apply unless additional costs are incurred.
Emotional support animals are accepted whenever the hotel’s pet-friendly policy is active and are subject to the applicable pet supplement.
The hotel reserves the right to request the removal of any dog that causes damage, excessive noise, disturbance, complaints or poses a risk to other guests or hotel employees. Guests will be responsible for any damage or compensation resulting from the animal’s behaviour.
